Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training from the 16th to the 24th of February with Chaitanya Nitay Das: director of the Yoga Inbound Studio, South Beach Miami, practitioner of Bhakti yoga for 17years. Chaitanya Das is a member of the Astrologers of India Assosiation, he studied Ashtanga yoga with Larry Shultz and Reed Taylor in San Fransisco and with Sri Patabhi Jois in New York.

This course will be taught by the director of Yoga Inbound Miami studio: Chaitanya Nitay Das. He has attended various teacher training courses of different instructors in the US over many years, and now with the objective of promoting and spreading the practice of Yoga to benefit all, he is offering courses in South America. He founded the Yoga Inbound School in Cusco and has held various seminars and courses in Peru since 2007.

Two weeks teacher training class

16 to 28 of February - Lima

Monday - Friday

8:30 am to 1:00 pm (Practice and theory)

4:00 pm to 6:00 pm (Selfpractice)


1st Week :

· Introduction, Vedic Philosophy

· Eight limbs of Asthanga Yoga, Vegetarianism.

· Primary Series.

· Pranayama. Bhandas, Chakras, Sanskrit Names of Asanas.

· Bhagavat Gita, Karma and Reincarnation, Yoga Diet.

· Four systems of Yoga, Various Mantras and meditations.

2nd week:

· Second series of Modified Asthanga, Sanskrit Names.

· Teaching Methodology , Adjustments.

· How to develop Intention and meaning to the practice

· Universal Principles of Alignment.

· Teaching Classes. Graduation.

Yoga Teacher Training Details

Course Certification Requirements
Our current teacher training course fulfills 200 hours as a minimum requirement for a basic understanding of the practice and philosophy of yoga. The 200 hours are divided into 2 two week courses of 100 hours each. After the first two week course, students are encouraged to deepen their practice based on what they learned and then to return to complete the second course.
200 hours of Teacher Training

· 150 hours learning yoga asanas

· 30 hours completing assignments

· 20 hours assisting and teaching yoga classes


1.Assist a Senior Instructor
Assist a senior instructor(s) by giving physical adjustments to the students and answering their questions before and after class.

2.Observe Classes
Attend classes taught by other teachers and observe their teaching style.

3.Teach a Yoga Class Teach a Yoga Inbound routine beginners' class

4.Written Assignments
Personal Essay:
Essays on your personal experience with yoga, training, practice, etc.

A. Tracking Your Daily Practice: Keep a journal of what you are learning. It is required that you practice yoga six day a week throughout the entire program.
B. Written Assignments From Your Teacher Training Workbook:

1.Ujayi breathing

2.Principals of Alignment

3.The 3 Bandhas: Mula, Uddiyana, and Jalandhara

4.Script for Sun Salutations A & B

5.The Standing Series

6.The Seated Series

7.Back Bending

8.The Ending Series

9.Compose a short essay on the principles that you intend to uphold as you teach yoga.

5.Final Exams
A. Memorize the Sanskrit names of all the Asanas
B. Written essay based on questions given in the teacher training workbook

YOGA IN THE NATURE

Join us and compliment your yoga training with 2 weekends in contact with nature at a beautiful site on the Pacific coast. EcoTruly Park is an eco-community and an ideal spot to practice yoga and meditation.

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Schedule:

6.30 - 8.30am (INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED) self practice

11.30am - 2.30pm (INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED)

12.00pm – 2.00pm (BASIC)

Cost:

Sunday full day: $25 (includes transport, tour of the community, vegetarian lunch, ashtanga yoga class)

Saturday and Sunday: $50 (includes transport, tour of the community, breakfast, lunch, overnight stay, ashtanga yoga class)

During the classes the participants will receive theory handouts and after the course they will have the opportunity to practice teaching a class at our studios in Lima or Cusco.

Students of Yoga Inbound are offered special discounts on all courses and therapies, have access to volunteer programs at all the centers around the world (Europa, America, India) and free entry to various activities throughout the year.
